Fees/charges

We welcome all enquiries about our services, fees and charges.

All appointments are carried out in your own home and each session is charged on an individual basis. The initial assessment fee incorporates a full and comprehensive assessment of current symptoms, level of function and issues regarding employment/education. Travel costs are included in this price for the majority of local areas. Additional travel charges can apply for appointments where the distance from base to venue is more than 25 miles.

After the initial assessment you will have information and strategies to put into place immediately and written information that you can use to explain your condition to family, friends, colleagues or employers.

Review appointments are charged on an individual basis and the frequency of the reviews will depend on your wishes. Some people may want occasional follow up sessions to support their progress, whilst others may want a few sessions to learn the principle strategies and then are happy to use this information to manage their symptoms themselves.

For appointments for children still in education we can carry out visits to schools to meet with staff when required and these are charged at the standard review rate.

If you are interested in obtaining an assessment and intervention for a child diagnosed with CFS/ME under the age of 16, and your GP is in the Durham & Darlington area, it may be worth discussing with them the possibility of applying for funding to be referred in to our service, due to the fact that the NHS Service for this client group has been de-commissioned.

An invoice will be provided at each session and payment can be made in cash or via bank transfer/online banking.

There can occasionally be additional charges for some written reports and letters.
